TO PVP OR TO NOT PVP?!?!?!?

It has come to my attention that PVP is becoming something of an issue in PlebCraft.

Sure, it's fun but what do you gain from killing people? All people do is whine for their stuff back and if they don't get it back they will quit the server, losing us our high-standard of ranking.

But after all, it's only a game so quit crying butthurt n00b! And besides, if you disable it people will quit because they love the PVP aspect!

Well, that's the conflict right there in a nutshell.

In my opinion, we should make the server more realistic by jailing the people who kill/rob others.
It should not be legal but should not be disabled. However we could use a pvp arena to make it fully legal to kill/rob in there only.

Do you mean as in cops jailing the PVP'ers and putting them in prison? That would be pretty cool with some guards guarding the prison to make it more fun for prison breaks.


Also another idea that I have in mind is the first 2 hours of game-play you can't be killed by another player. This amount of time may be increased, because it may take more than 2 hours to get your shit together when you first start out. After that, you're on your own. This would decrease the amount of people always picking on the defenseless noobs and let them have some time to at least fight back.

Install the plugin which doesn't allow your inventory to drop on the floor.

I can build a quite fancy arena, but I'll need about 2 days and I lag a lot, I can add mob spawners for the arena, as well it being a PVP place.

If you have PvP, probably more people will join. Minecraft these days is all about PvP.
They stopped building lots of things, they just make obsidian bases and raid others.

So I suggest to keep it. If people see that we're PvP and griefing, more players will come and its worth its money to keep up the server.

I am worried about the players online, there are only 6-10 players online each time of the days.

So if we get factions back and maybe add Raiding, more people will come.

I suggest to start a new map aswell and change the whole server. You'll see, we get more members.
